Bev submitted my stuff on Nov 17 and I was approved by Nov 23. So it was a week including a weekend. Yes, he was into February for scheduling and I got the first available. I unfortunately have to do 6 weeks weeks of optifast. I start that in a few weeks so I will be on that during Xmas. Not to thrilled about that but worth it in the end.

I had a couple friends who went through surgery at the same office but went to Dr. Dan and I am also going there but won't be done with my 3 month diet til Feb 15th. How long after Bev sent your stuff into Aetna did you hear you were approved? I see your getting surgery Feb 14th...was that Dr. Z's first available appointment? My other friends have all had surgery within a month of approval date so I was thinking I would be getting surgery mid March but now that I see your not for like 7 or 8 weeks I'm wondering what to expect. I'm doing 2 weeks of optifast are you also??

Breast Implants

Implants available for breast augmentation surgery are made in silastic (solid silicone plastic) on the outside and filled with either saline solution or silicone gel (at the consultation we will discuss these options).  My manufacturer of choice is Mentor ( www.mentorcorp.com).

Skin Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to reverse the effect of aging by reducing or eliminating wrinkles and replacing soft-tissue loss. Most dermal fillers are cost effective and the patient will see instant improvements with no recovery time.  The results from dermal fillers can last  from three months to five years, depending on the filler being used.  I use Botox Juvederm and Restylane in my practice.

Dr Krammer with OSU Harding Hospital has a support group that meets on the third Wednesday each month at the Center for Wellness.  Anyone can attend.  The group that meets on Tuesdays is just for patients.  Give his office a call for information.
