I want to try this natural sugar replacement, but I'd like some opinions before I purchase it?

Just met with a Dietician this morning and she reccommend Stevia. It is a natural source so will not play with your body chemisrty. She dies not even reccommend using splenda.
She did say it is very sweet though

I've read the liquid is the best to buy, and you only need a drop or 2.  I'm gonna go for it and buy it, there's a new health store here at work and they've got great sales.

The powdered can leave a burning taste in your throat.. at least I've had that.  I like the liquid and make sure you get the thicker kind... not sure what it's called.  Stevia works great.  Enjoy it.

co-worker went at lunch and says there's 2 kinds - with or without alcohol - guess I'm choosing the non-alcohol.  And they have the powdered version, but that means it's processed and loses some of it's "natural" effect.

I've got stevia extract here, Now brand, and I think it's the thicker one.  You pay the same price, but only need like 2 drops of this compared to the liquid which you need like 6.
I get mine in the states at a health food store I get my iron at.

The brand there is Now and the health food store here is Nutrition House.  I'll have to get off this puter and go over on my lunch tomorrow and check it out.

I've been using agave syrup, i just use it on my oatmeal, but I bought the "baking size", which says to me that you can bake with it. Not that i bake.

Sue, i've noticed that you don't have pics on your profile. I'd love to see some pics of your progress. You seem to be doing so well.
