I love plums but I'm having a hard time digesting the skins.  I peel my apples like we were told to but does anyone else have this problem with plums or other fruit?

Skins are difficult - I can do apples and most fruit, but not peach fuzz - BLEAH.  I haven't had a plum since last summer, but I did peel it as I found the skin tough to chew/swallow.

yeah, skins are difficult. peel em up, Sue. Maybe you should have someone take a picture of you peeling a plum.  that'd be nice.

oh get this one - my daughters packing to move cause she's going away to school and we can't find either one of our cameras and she's there now looking at apartments.  I might have to wait until she unpacks to find it.  And the blackberry pic was too small.  So you'll have to wait some more lol.

Ya! I love plums too but I have avoided eating them because the skins don't like me. Maybe I will peel them too :)

it's not one of the fruits I enjoy so I am not sure if I have had one in the last year or not.

Wow I wa snever told to peel my fruit....interesting how there are different recommendations/suggesitons from the different clinics/ teams etc!!

I just ate a 1/2 apple last week and all I did was rinse it with a pesticide removal vegetable wash...and that was it..YUMMY!

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!.  Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!

Our instructions were to peel apples at first, and I still do as I have a hard time with the skins.  I was a bit surprised at having the same problem with the plums.  As you are further along after surgery I think most can eat the peel.
