Disappointed with surgeon's appt

I know it didn't turn out to be what I expected either. Congratulations on being ready to go! Next stage Optifast and then before you know it will be moving over on the bench to make room for you.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get your surgery appointment real soon.

I had the exact same reaction as you, it was very anti-climatic. Dr. Smith was very good and answered all my questions thoughly but certainly didn't offer anything else (to be fair though it was obvious by the questions I was asking that he really didn't need to). I saw him on Sep 19 and I'm booked for surgery on Oct 24th. I'm starting Optifast tomorrow! You'll get the call from Lana soon to book your surgery. Good luck!

hey Jenn, you are now waiting for your LAST phone call!! Eeeep!! I feel soooo good right now, being down almost 60 lbs. Just wait till you are there too... you will love it Jen.

wow very sad, that he had such a laxi-dasixal approach to it all...my surgeon was very thorough and the part about the smoking was key (even though I didn;t smoke)...not to freak you out..but some surgeons won';t perform the surgery on a smoker...not sure of the reasons..but I know my surgeon emphasized the whole smoking issue.

I am gla dthat he answered everything in great detail..maybes he's a wealth of informaiton, just not overly communicative.
