I totally sympathize.

I went for a walk on Tuesday and stepped in a puddle that happed to be kind of oily and my feet flew out from under me and I landed super hard on my right knee. I have a huge scab and can barely bend my leg :(

I'm so sorry to hear this, Megan.  The last time that I had a big fall, I broke my wrist (on the sidewalk in front of the Civic Hospital going in for my first appointment with Dr. Dent to get approved for wls, lol).  I'm sure that if Iwasn't so heavy at the time, my wrist wouldn't have broken.

Please take it easy and look after yourself - let hubby spoil you!

Wow, I didn't break anything, but after this fall I can see how it happens.  I did have to pick a little bit of gravel out of the palm of my hand, but that's better than a break/

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.  One thing I'm grateful for is the weightloss I've had since surgery.  My grandson is 23 lbs and 6 months old - when I hold him and become 23 lbs heavier, can I ever feel it in my sore places.  Can't imagine what I'd be feeling if I was 60 lbs heavier again.

Oh Megan, so sorry to hear that. I find this time of year dangerous in our neighbourhood due to the fallen leaves, as they are very slippery.
take good care, and get hubby involved in the action too.
