Question about the "Old Stomach" after RNY

You can still ultrasound it. It used to be true that you can't to a scope to see inside it, which is how ulcers are usually diagnosed, however, there is a new technique that I've recently heard of where they can scope the old stomach via a colonoscopy - but I have no idea if they are doing it in Ontario yet. I think Tracy might have mentioned something about this a while ago?

My NSAID use and stress have been insane forever. My stomach was reconnected this summer after having floated in abdominal space since 2001 and it's peachy ( well, more bananaie)

Just wanted to add that I believe they are making an abdominal incision now to scope blind stomachs.
