Went shopping
Had a real nice fun day with my three girls yesterday, Robin and her two girls called me up and we went shopping. Was fun looking at all the nice clothes. We tried on heeled boots and real high heels. Robin was impressed with herself, she could walk quite fine in those stilts!! Went to Winners and I picked up a real nice top. After our fun day we came back to my house to show grampa what we bought. Putting things away I noticed I forgot sugar sweetner. So the kids stayed with gramps and Robin and I took off shopping again. This time we had only to look at ladies things. Zeller's is closing so we decided to check them out. Robin found herself a real nice pair of heeled boots, had to twist her arm so she would buy them. Came home and decided to try my cute top on.....hummmm ...guess I should of tried it on at the store. I am so used to buying 4x and 3x that I just picked out a 3x and took it. Yep....was too big. Leson learned now...TRY CLOTHES ON BEFORE BUYING. the top was on sale and not expensive so will keep it. Looks good on right now but not for long. Just wanted to share my great day with the girls.

Joyce Ah shopping! I'm notorious for not trying stuff on because I always hated going into this ghastly change rooms. I'd eyeball it and usually landed up with something that didn't fit. That would depress me even more. Now, I'm not so afraid of the change room and I enjoy trying things on. Glad you had a great day with Robin!
Glad you had a funtime shopping with your girls. You will definitely have to give up buying clothes without trying them on because our heads still think we are bigger than we actually are. I still often look at my jeans and think there is no way my big butt is going to squeeze into these....but amazingly enough my "thinner" butt does fit and they aren't skin tight. Head games make it a dangerous to buy by eye.
Glad you and Robin (and gals) had such a great day! And yes, you'll definitely have to start trying things on ... or at least hold them up to yourself. I'm still in awe of myself when I can walk to the XL section rather than XXL/XXXL.
