In what order for appointments??

I just had my orientation yesterday and today they called me to book my surgeon appointment for this friday.    I thought the surgeon appointment was supposed to be later on and after the others.  Does anyone know if this is normal?  No big deal?

In Ottawa, you do not see the surgeon until all other appts are completed.  However, I have noted that others attending other centres see the surgeon twice.  Once at the start of the process and again just before surgery.

oh ok, thanks.  I am at Humber, so it could be twice.

 It is twice at humber, you see him the first time he makes sure you understand what you are doing. He explains the surgery. Then they send your refferal to the medical internist.
Then you see him again no sooner than 14 days after your last appointment. (the not before 14 days may only be Dr. Huynh)

I too am at Humber and see my surgeon for the second time next week.
