6m - with pics
Hey all!!
I don't get online much anymore, with all the cuts at work, including internet access....and of course then on weekends I don't spend much time at home anymore!! I spend both my Saturday and Sunday mornings RUNNING!!!
Yep! you read that right....
I joined the Running Room's "Learn to Run" program after some of you inspired me (you know who you are) and even though I was terrified, I did it! We are at 4 & 1s now and I am surviving!!! I must say, it is very hard but every week, I am able to do more and it gets easier. I still amaze myself every darn week!!
Another thing I noticed; if my Honey and I are out and about and get separated, sometimes he can't find me!! Why? No, I am not so small that I disappeared....but he doesn't recognize me enough to pick me out of a crowd right away!!
I have noticed that theatre seats have gotten bigger; bus aisles have gotten wider; most chairs have become incredibly uncomfortable because I have bones in my ass!! I didn't even KNOW we had bones in our asses!! Who invented that???
My scale moves ever so slowly but I don't even think I care anymore. I weigh myself occasionally but not obsessively every day like before. I can run up a flight of stairs and my heart rate doesn't even notice. I feel awesome!!
And that, folks....is what its all about!!
Here are some pics....
First: BEFORE

ME in the crowd at the Running Room the day we met John Stanton. Best part of this photo is that you cant even pick me out of the crowd!!! I LOOK JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!!! N-O-R-M-A-L!!!
(well....except for the pink hair...)

Me at 6months
(I was trying to fool my daughter with this life size poster of her hero - JUSTIN BEIBER!!)

Hey Jennifer - I know that you have had more than your share of troubles over the past year so it's even better to hear the happiness, excitment and positive attitude in your post. I agree that you are looking fantastic. Way to go girl on the running. Thanks for the update and keep us posted on your continued success. Hugs, Muriel
