Warning flying right after surgery

I can't comment on flying as it did not apply to me but please keep in mind that you will be sore after surgery and every bump on the highway hurts like hell.I was only 45 minutes from home and took pain killers before I left the hospital and still could not believe how painful the drive was for me. I used a pillow to brace my incisions but it still really hurt.  Can't imagine doing it for longer than 1 hour at a time.
