What are you eating/doing today
I tend to produce kidney stones, especially in my right kidney, but they usually pass with not too much pain(I have a fairly high tolerance). About 9 years ago, both kidneys had them, and after passing a few(while I was delivering my little girl), there was a jagged little one that needed lithotripsy. I had an appointment schedule with a specialist, but was canceled and not re-booked. Unfortunately, my body does not like stents, so that is not an option.

Hi Megan....About 8-10 years ago, I was having 2-3 attacks each year but, haven't had "even one" since, the (new) urologist I finally got to see, recommended that "daily" I drink 2 liters of water mixed with 1/2 lemon juice (I use concentrate). I am prone to forming them apparently and the lemon juice seems to prohibit the process. You may want to check this out w/your own Dr. Hope you get some relief from this excruciating pain SOON!!

Thanks, Verity! The urologist canceled my appointment and his office has not called back to re-schedule yet. I will try the water with lemon juice. It is excruciating when passing. Like before, the stone pop in and out of the ureter, so they tried a stent, only to have to remove it in the OR. They found that little sucker in during an ultrasound in December. Of course, it only started giving me grief when my husband were at an NHL game...third period. Kidney issues run in our family. Oh well, it could be worse.
