I believe the fitbit only works with iphone 4S and higher - although I could be wrong but I believe that is what I have heard and read

I have an iPhone 4 and a fitbit. My fitbit synchs with my computer and my phone grabs that info wirelessly. When they say it doesn't work it means it doesn't synch directly to your phone, if that makes sense. All my info is in my app on my phone but only after it synch with my computer. Hope that helps.
