Hi there OH Friends, I'll be 3 weeks post op tomorrow the 1st of July, and feel pretty good. So not into food but I'm thinking slow and steady is fine. Big problem, hiccups, crazy horrible hiccups! I get them a few times a day, and they last forever. Any ideas? Normally it wouldn't bother me, not that I hardly ever got them pre op, but they hurt like hell. Thanks for listening, happy Canada day!

For some folks, the hiccups is a sign of being full.  For others, it is a runny nose or a sneeze.

Your insides are not yet fully healed, so hiccups could be painful!  Hopefully it will cease quickly.

Hi Robyn, in the booklet they gave me before i left the hospital HRRH, its says persistent hiiccups should be checked out at ER...I would say because they are causing you pain you should get checked out hun.. Or give your clinic a call at least to make sure.... Take care ... Krista..
