psychological evaluation

Hi everyone! I am trying to get all my pre-operative crap done so my insurance will approve WLS. One of the things I have to do yet is to have a psychological evaluation by a liscensed psychologist. I am needing to find one in Salem, any recommendations? Also, when I do find a psychologist and call to make the appointment, do I just tell them I need an evaluation for WLS?? I went to Dr. Dale Veith at Salem Hospital Rehab on Center Street. He has experience with being very overweight and losing the weight thru weightloss surgery himself and I found him to be terrific. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect but he made me feel comfortable and just wanted me to talk about my childhood and when I noticed the weight coming on and to make sure I didn't have unrealistic expectations of how the surgery would change my life. In other words it was a pleasant experience. Good luck, Mary
