Topic: help in finding the right dr in OR
Hi to all!!! I am new to this board!!! I live just out of Sweet home OR and I am looking for a dr in OR that makes it as easy on the patient as thay can with helping with the ins co working with them to help speed up the time it take to get aproved and not drawing the hold procedure out forever. I am looking to have a LGB. thankyou for any inf and help!!!

Hi Karen,
We have our meetings the first and third Wednesdays of every month. If you have an email I can put you on my email list and I send out reminders two days before the meetings. Our next one is tomorrow and it is at the Salem Hospital in the Birthing Center Building, Building D, at 6pm in the support group room, just follow the signs that say Salem BOST.
We are open to everyone and you are welcome to bring a support person with you. I personnally had my surgery at OHSU a little over two years ago and am more than willing to talk to you or answer any questions you like. We are a very friendly relaxed group. Hope to see you there.

Do you have these meetings often? I live in Salem and would LOVE to start going to support meetings!! I'm planning on having my surgery done at OHSU and I think to attend the meetings at Salem Hospital you have to have it done there? Not sure on that.

I am going thru legacy and they told me any sleep study, i asked if they could recommend someone or some place they said ask my dr or look on line or chk with my insurance for a place/location. thanks guys.

That is great to hear. I am so nervous about getting my first fill since the change in insurance, not sure what they pay. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of documentation did they require? Please PM me if that is more comfortable for you.
