I’m 5'7 and 320 lbs, my BMI is 50.1, i have no real co morbidities and I’m scared they will say no to the surgery. Do they do the procedure lapriscopicaly? I don’t know, I’m just scared about rejection and want to go where I have the best shot at getting it done and safe. Just looking for any advice, from anyone at this point. Thanks

I had my RNY at Good Sam. Love the doctors & the follow-up care. Parking is free & easy!!

You might attend both seminars and see which one you get a better feel for. Their requirements are also a bit different. As they are both Centers of Excellence, I went with OHSU only because all my other care is there and I work for them.

Oh my! Being that my mother has worked for 2 different airlines since '86 I know the hectic-ness of traveling standby with a family of 5 =)

Hi there thank you so much for answering my post!!!!! I love to get together with someone in Org that is looking to have weight surgery!!! perhaps we can get together soon!! I will be back in town in a week or so, I going to Bakersfield in the morning, I am getting hitched on the 14th of FEB!!!!! OH BOY!!!! any way we have been living together for almost 2yr and AM no spring chicken so it wont be a real big wedding or any thing, my ex is going to watch my pets !!!!! how grown up is that, so any way just to give you a little heads up on me, let me know if you want to get together!!! and chat have a supper week.
