New Here

Hi, I'm new to this message board... I really hopped it would be more active than it is. Just looking for more folks like me that I can relate to better. I am 26, married, the mother of a 2 year old and step mother to a 3 and 4 year old. I just hear a lot of pray about it and put your faith in Jesus EVERYWHERE else (group, message boards, etc) just hoping there were others like me. Take Care, Fire Sign

Hi Jeanie! Thanks for the Welcome. I really appreciate that. I definately want to get this going. I think the more people like me going through this, the better. I wasn't able to check the site yesterday... My little guy (2 years old) had an ear infection so I was otherwise occupied. But I would LOVE regular communication with like minded people. Hi Brokenwing, I have been pagan since I discovered it when I was 16. So, for 10 years or so now. Some of my friends were and I was a generally open minded person anyway. Church was definately not for me. Although I did try MANY denominations, nothing really fit until I started researching this. I don't really advertise my beleifs. I beleive that religion is a very personal thing so it really isn't anybody's business anyway. Those who know recognize the Goddess charm I wear, but I work in an office of busy bodies so I don't brodcast my beleifs. When it comes up I simply tell them that I hate lables (cause I really do) and that I believe what I believe and I don't beleive what I don't beleive. Usually the questions stop there. As I have said many times most people react negatively out of ignorance, but it is not my job to educate them either. That goes for the surgery too. My husband is also pagan, actually that is how we met, through the friends who introduced me to the religion. Sadly I have lost touch with many of my pagan friends... either they have moved or generally lost their minds. It is nice that at least a few of us are lingering on the board. Maybe if we keep in contact we will attact new people and welcome old people back??? It was nice to meet you Blessed Be, Krista

Hello Fire Sign I just sent you a email I am also a Aries and I agree with your post 100%. My surgery date is 06-06-06 how about that for a rebirth any extra prayers any of you would like to send out would be most appreciated although I am not Pagan I am Heathen we all agree that while its nice folks want to "pray" for you I have the faith in my gods that I will come out of this more of a warrior then before ready to do the will of Odin. The only two things in life that is constant are the day we are born and the day we die the rest is up to us! Live every day like it was your last! Make your ancestors proud! And your gods proud! And as always Honor your gods and ancestors. Live for today. Look to the future. Love with your whole heart. Do right and fear no one. Keep a couple hundred rounds loaded in mags. Make sure all your loose ends are tied up and that today's a good day to die! .....
