Surgery Scheduled for December 28th!

Heilsa, I'm so excited that it's finally happening, seems almost surreal. At the same time I'm also really nervous and a tiny bit scared. Is anyone else here scheduled for that day? Seems like everybody who has left me messages on here have said that they are praying for me. Part of me really hates that, the other part of me knows that prayer is pretty much the same thing as magick, it's just that they don't know what they're subconciously doing. If any of you guys want to leave me some more pagan oriented messages, feel free to do so! Greetings Vinkald, Congrates on getting your date. I too was nervous and scared. With the help of the Goddess I made it though with shining colors. My surgery was Oct 8th and I've had no problems as of yet. Not only will I send prayers for you, I will light candles and send offerings to the Goddess in your name. Pagan prayers are headed your way! All the christian prayers get on my nerves too, but people have told me that all prayers are good energy, no matter where they come from, so I'm trying to remember that. Well I am hoping that your surgery went well and looking forward to seeing you post your results when you get out of the hospital. Love and healing energy are on the way to you hun... Yes, prayers of healing from any religion are just that... good energy and vibrations sent along the cosmos. We must remind ourselves that magick and prayer go hand in hand and it is the intent behind that energy that really makes the difference. It is the prayers for our "salvation" that tend to strike a nerve in our community and I typically counter with something like "thank you for your effort but I find love and light from the Lord and Lady and do not need salvation for my godly deeds speak louder than any words of salvation."
