Hello everyone! I noticed this board doesn't get much mileage . Does anyone have any Samhain plans? We are having a feast for our departed loved ones, with a few of our..like minded... friends. Anybody have any harvest recipes they'd like to share? I get tired of making the same old foods...we generally have your normal Thanksgiving like foods...bread, turkey, vegetables. ~Genny 360/239/169

I am having a small family celebration on Samhain... the previous weekend will be a KILLER!!! Our band is playing a Halloween bash in Marysville, Oh... then on Sunday our ex-sound man is having his engagement party, an all day affair... I will be so glad to see Monday roll around!!! a day of thanksgiving and rest!!! (Cooking IS restful & medatative to me ) I am a bit bummed beacuse every year the Pagan community in COlumbus has a wonderful Witches Ball!!! I always seem to have other obligations... though I do enjoy palying in our band. One of these days, I will get to go!! At least this weekend Columbus is having the Universal Light Expo!!! Raymond Buckland will be there and Ted Andrews... I hope to attend on Sunday BB ~Deb

We will be getting the coven together for the holiday. The plan is for the usual ceremony plus a seance, card readings and a feast. We serve venison stew with purple wine bread or 15th century saffron bread. For desert, the usual pies. Some lanvender cookies or fairy bread. Or mayhaps an Avalon cake. Magical moon beams coming your way, Brokenwing
