Pre-Surgery Rituals

Did anyone here do any rituals just before surgery? I just got scheduled for Feb. 6th and I'm trying to put one together.

I did some private healing rituals and my coven did a healing ritual during my surgery to send me healing energy, which I think helped a lot. It is nice to have someone out there keeping up your shields and sending you energy while you are under. I had a high fever for awhile and no strength. I couldn't have gotten through it without them. The best thing you could do is find some healing herbs and take a hot herb bath with candle light. Or if you can't do that, make a tea from the same herbs, I would suggest chamomile, lavender and a pinch of lemon grass, and whatever else you think you need, and light several candles and meditate. I asked the Goddess to bring this to me and she guided me every step of the way. Hold on to the power of your particular deity. What time is your surgery and in what time zone? I will send some energy to you that day!

Hi Linda, I did a health blessing ritual the night before. Other members of my coven lit candles and did meditation the morning of my surgery. It was calming and kept my mind at peace. I have lived close with the Lord and Lady for many years and could feel the Goddess with me as I went into O.R. Many blessings and magickal moonbeams going your way, Brokenwing

I am going to hold a blot the day before my surgery as I cannot drink anything after midnite although I may take my horn and have a tiny sip of water before surgery I hope the gods understand I am off of the good stuff for a while.I do not like going into "battle" with out wearing my Thor's hammer although I will ask that he keep a watch over me while I am out.
