I agree with you sentiment, we are all one family and no matter what god we worship, we are all cousins. Happy holidays to you and have a wonderful new year!

Topic: RE: Pre-Surgery Rituals
I did some private healing rituals and my coven did a healing ritual during my surgery to send me healing energy, which I think helped a lot. It is nice to have someone out there keeping up your shields and sending you energy while you are under. I had a high fever for awhile and no strength. I couldn't have gotten through it without them. The best thing you could do is find some healing herbs and take a hot herb bath with candle light. Or if you can't do that, make a tea from the same herbs, I would suggest chamomile, lavender and a pinch of lemon grass, and whatever else you think you need, and light several candles and meditate. I asked the Goddess to bring this to me and she guided me every step of the way. Hold on to the power of your particular deity. What time is your surgery and in what time zone? I will send some energy to you that day!

Did anyone here do any rituals just before surgery? I just got scheduled for Feb. 6th and I'm trying to put one together.

As human beings, We are a diverse group of people. We come in many colors, shapes and sizes. We come from different cultures, speak different languages, live different life styles and practice different religions. Yet, no matter who we are, one thing remains constant: We all look forward to the Winter Holidays. By some, they are called Christmas or Hanukkah. By others, Winter Solstice, Yule or Kwanzaa. Each Celebration is a little different, but the main ideas are the same. The Holidays provide us with a time for Thanksgiving and Praise, reflection, resolution and gift giving. Most important, though, is the welcoming of the healing powers of the warmth of family and friends. And gives us a common ground that draws us together as One People. Happy Holidays and travel safe, everyone! love~ Deb

Hi there fellow followers of the Path. I am very excited to find a Pagan forum on this website. I am having surgery on January 9th as a big part of rebuilding myself, physically, spiritually and mentally. I just wanted to say hello to all of you out there and wish you all a happy Yule! May the Goddess bring good tidings to you all and have a blessed new year! Blessed Be!

Topic: How did Samhain go for you?
This was a strange one for me. Mayhaps it was due to the dark faze of the moon. If it could go wrong it did. Our coven just couldn't get it together. First one of our members had family troubles and then anothers car broke down. One member got here, stayed for 15 minutes and had to rush off to pick up a friend stranded 50 miles away. The person who was to bring the main dish for the feast called at the last minute to say she wasn't coming. We had to come up with a meat dish fast, go figure all I had that would feed all of us was a bag of chicken nuggets. On top of this, I made a huge apple pie( sugar free). Only two peices got ate and I forgot to serve the monster toes I had in the fridg. LOL The fertility bread, purple wine bread, and aphrodesiac bread seemed to just disappear into thin air. Next year I'm making two loaves of each. One thing I did right was buy a lot of treats, we had 63 trick-or-treaters. Magickal moon beams to all Brokenwing

We will be getting the coven together for the holiday. The plan is for the usual ceremony plus a seance, card readings and a feast. We serve venison stew with purple wine bread or 15th century saffron bread. For desert, the usual pies. Some lanvender cookies or fairy bread. Or mayhaps an Avalon cake. Magical moon beams coming your way, Brokenwing
