MM All! I am in the info stage of my journey. I did have my 1st visit with the surgeon, and received his letter in the mail saying i am a good candidate for surgery. *diabetes type 2 *PCOS *joint pain, back pain *i weigh 269lbs so now i am just waiting for monday so i can call the nurse coordinator to start scheduling my tests, classes, and psych eval. What sucks is there is a waiting list i have heard estimates of 3yrs, (doc told me perhaps 6-9 months) a bit about me.... i am 27yrs old, training for my 1* in a BTW tradition. So true. I visit this board often to see if there are any new posts and I just finally decided to contribute anything. Thanks for replying. I am relieved to have found a site where I can ask questions and find support in more areas then one. There are few out pagan/witches in my area so it is hard to find those with experience and support. I look forward to talking to more people like me and people that are not like me. MM and early good morning to you all, I just thought I would post a hello. It is around 1 in the morning here and I am about to hit the sack. I have been a practicing pagan before I knew that there was actually a term for someone like me. I am 3mo post op today and just had a follow up with my surgeon. He says I am doing excellent and I am his poster child for WLS. It feels good that I am doing well and others notice. Just thought I would spread some happy vibes. BB. Jessica Grace
