Oh Goodness!! This is too good to be true! Pagans in MA going through the same weight problems as I am.
The Gods do smile upon me.
Merry Meet, my brothers and sister. I've been practicing Wicca for 29 years!! My grandfather was a Santero (Spanish for Medicine Man) and the rest of the family are witches or practice Wicca to some extent.
Now, all I need is to meet you all!
I'm Raysa, from Boston and currently going through the pre-op stages of surgery. I was a gastric pacer study patient and, unfortunately, didnt lose as much as I had wanted. I'm an Urban Planner and work in the South End.
Drop me a line!
Love and light,
TaurusGirl (a.k.a. Raysa)

Merry Meet Shelly! I am a fellow Texan (north of Fort Worth) and I understand your reluctance to discuss spirtuality on the Texas board which I occassionally post on.
I am a practitioner of the old Celtic religion. My family and I honor our ancestors and the Celtic pantheon. We have special relationships with Briget, Arianrhod, and Cerranous. I am a nursing student hoping to one day be a Certified Nurse Midwife. I own a salon in the Dallas area which has allowed me to return to school for my nursing degree. I occassionally work as a Doula.
I am post-op for the AGB and I had to self pay because insurance would not cover it. I went to MX and had a wonderful experience. I am so grateful for this tool to help me overcome my weight issues.

Hello All! I've only been practising about 3 years and I belong to a small coven of 3. We celebrate all of the Sabbats together but otherwise we are solitary. I am still learning and would love to share my spirituality with others on the journey of WLS.
I am still pre-op...am waiting to hear an APPROVAL from TRC (Texas Rehabilitation Commission).
Well, I hope to hear from others.
Blessed Be
Shelly

Hello Pattie! i am just starting too! Sorry about that Samhain appointment. That's one of my favorite Sabbats. We have our Feast of the Dead every year and it is so beautiful. Keep us posted on your journey.

Hello Lea! Yes there are more of us out here! The Main Board seems overwhelmingly Christian to me so I never dreamed that there was a Pagan or Board. WOW!!
