I really don't know why because everyone is really nice and I am sure they would be understanding. It's just that being raised in the Texas section of the Bible Belt has been quite the experience. Merry Meet, Tammy! I'm also at the beginning. I have my first consultation on Oct 31 (LOL). Right now, I'm just trying to do as much research as I possibly can. I'm sure you're doing the same. I just have a wonderful feeling that this is the way to go for me. Goddess knows, I've tried everything else to lose weight. I always felt I was destined to stay this size. I didn't want Tammy to be the only post! I am also just starting out on this journey. I am in the process of finding a doctor, getting insurance approval, and finding out more info about WLS. I am leaning very heavily toward the lap band. I follow a traditional Celtic path and worship with a clan of wonderful people in the North Texas area. ~Lea
