We had a good day yesterday. Sadie was a bit naughty but hey she's 2 that's her job right?? DH gave me a bit of a break last night though so I did some shopping at Walmart. I worked extra to be able to leave early today. When Sadie spread the cat food from one end of my livingroom to the other I told her that makes mommy angry. She looked up at me and said, "you take a pill and feel better?" LOL where does she come up with these things? WooHoo I am only working until 11 today then it's off to our walk through of the house and then to closing. I'm getting very excited..but a little nervous as well. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers that everything goes smoothly. I probably won't be back on today after we sign as we have a day packed full of things to do. We are trading my mother in law our car for her truck for the rest of the week. This way we can do a load of boxes etc...in the evenings and make it easier on Sat. My sweet nephew (he's now 25) is coming to stay with us so he and my husband can move things while I work on Friday too. Knowing the two of them it'll all be moved by Fri night and we won't need the help on Sat. I believe DH and I are going to stop for a celebratory dinner before we head up to get the truck. My son will be here with Sadie. Wow I can't believe it's finally closing day!!! Thanks for always listening to my vents about this whole process!! You ladies are awesome!

Well yesterday was an absolutely crazy day at work. If it could be turned upside down it was. Then after getting home it was a hormonal war zone so it wasn't not the best of nights either. I am feeling quite grumpy today but will try to make the best of it. How are you all doing? Hope you have a great day!!!

Our weekend was VERY, VERY busy. Firday & Saturday we had our yard sale. I worked Friday, so DH's aunt was selling stuff at the yard sale, so she was there, and then on Saturday, all 3 of us were there. We made a whopping $1700.00!!!!! Aunt Carol made $850.00 and we made over $880.00
We were WHOOPED tired. Glad it is over. Now that we have our yard sale $$$, we are planning on buying thicker plywood for the floor of the shed. The way it was built, the floor support beams were set too far apart, and there was thin plywood layed on top of that, so, when you go in there, the plywood bows under your feet, and it just does not feel safe, so, once the thicker plywood is layed in there, that will fix the problem. YEA!!!!! And we are shopping around for another BBQ. The element burned out of our other one. So, we feel accomplished. In another 4-5 years, maybe we will have another yard sale. Just glad it is over.
Yesterday, Hunter & I went to a b-day party, there were pony rides, boy, you should have seen the GRIN on his face!!!!!
Court, sounds like your weekend was nice & relaxing. Glad you & hubby had some time to yourselves, it was probably pretty nice.

Michelle, Sheesh... you sure stay busy!!!! Glad you found bedding & bathroom stuff. Sounds like you will be pretty cozy in you new house soon!!!

Good Morning! It's going to be a crazy but good week! I'm getting really excited for tomorrow. I can hardly believe we actually have a date finally. We had a pretty good weekend but it went way too fast. Sat morning I went to the funeral for my old supervisor's husband. It was soooo sad but as she said..somehow we always make it through. Saturday evening we actually sent Sadie off to a babysitters. Yes, she's 2 1/2 and this was her first babysitter...well other than her brother and sister and the handful of times grandma and grandpa watched her. She did great! We went to a couple's wedding shower. It was nice having time together and no kids. Yesterday was church in the morning then we ran to Sears to look at bedding. We're getting a bigger bed with the move and needed a new bedding set. We actually found one we liked and on clearance woohoo!! I went back to Shopko after getting everything started for dinner to get laundry soap....well I came out of there $130 later hehehehe. We had been looking online at this awesome bathroom set for quite sometime. I found it there on clearance. They had everything except for the fabric shower curtain so we ordered that online last night. Even with paying full price for the curtain we still saved $70 and I even bought 2 rugs instead of one. Wow that was great! I now am excited to be able to get in the house and put it up.
Today is a 10 hr day for work. I have a few errands to do this afternoon to be ready for tomorrow too. Other than that we'll probably work a little more on getting a little more packed up.

Morning! How was your weekend? Mine was fabulous. Enjoyed my weekend with the hubby, did some shopping and got myself so great new things, got to go out with some friends on Saturday and had a blast. Yesterday was a family get together at my mom's. Lots of fun. The girlies didn't get home til late last night so it took awhile to wind down and get into bed. I have to admit I am feeling it this a.m. Work today and who knows what for tonight. Hope you all have a great one!!!

And, at least you have heard from one of the banks, so that is better than nothing, but I understand the HURRY UP & THEN WAIT (and who can be patient during ths agonizing process??!!!!!) Have a nice one-on-one weekend with your hubby!!!!!!

OMG we got our approval!! Just got the call from the banker everything is approved. She said Tues will be closing and she's calling me back with a time after she talks to the title company. What a relief!!

Yesterday was ok for me. Nothing too exciting but that's good. Got lots of work done plus spent some time with Sadie. Had to let my son know that hey we are probably moving in a week you can't just run with your friends...we need your help here. He wasn't the happiest but oh well. Today is work and I think we're heading to DH's sister's house to visit tonight. I really need to spend some time balancing the checkbook though. Tomorrow I have that funeral in the morning. We have a couple's shower for our youth director and his fiance tomorrow evening so sometime I need to go shopping to get a gift.
