Yesterday was good for me. Work went pretty well. Came home, read for awhile, had dinner, curled up on the couch to cuddle with hubby and fell asleep before 8. Feeling pretty refreshed today. Not much planned for today, hoping to get out a bit this evening and enjoy the nice weather. Tomorrow will be the gym, some shopping, and household chores. Dinner date with another couple planned for the evening. Sunday will be a relaxing morning together and then off to my mom's for a family get together. At some point on Sunday the girlies will come home. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!!
18 years ago, with the credit bureaus sure was a different story.
I placed 7 year fraud alerts onto all 3 of my reports, and I have a 'Consumer Statement' on there as well. The fraud alerts have expired, but I still monitor my reports. Never ending, I tell ya!!!

I am a victim of identity theft. I am 37 now, but, I had thing on my credit report before I ever had credit I was 19 and applied for a loan, with my gramma co-signing. The only other thing that I had, was a telephone. Seriously.... So, at the bank, they pulled my credit report, and showed it to me.
THERE WERE OVER 2 PAGES OF BAD DEBIT
Then the banker askes me if I was going to be paying any of it off??!!??
So, Trust me, I have fought & fought, and fought. OK, off my soap box grumble, grumble, grumble........
Got most of the stuff out of the shed and priced last night for our yard sale.
The swingset... it is not done yet, but, Hunter can still play safely on it. Next step is to move it over about 2 feet, then DH will fini**** up.

Wow, Court, sounds like all was well in your shoes yesterday! Glad DH was happy with his present. Hopefully you can get some time to get some much needed rest.
Jamie, is the swingset finished? Hopefully no moos will come to play on yours LOL.
We had a pretty good day yesterday. Nothing too exciting. Sadie and I spent some time outside yesterday afternoon riding bike, coloring with chalk, etc... We ended up at the store buying more chalk and bubbles for this afternoon. She's not so sure of those darn bugs that are all of a sudden turning up though. I even let them crawl on my hand to show her they wouldn't hurt her LOL. Today I'm working a split shift so I can take my mother in law to the Dr. I'll be working a total of 6 hrs then making some more time up tomorrow. I'm soooo looking forward to the weekend. Not sure why though as it's packed full already.
Well, on to the house update. We got an email last night saying everything is updated and was sent back to underwriting yesterday afternoon. We're now just waiting for that final approval. The banker says she doesn't see why it shouldn't happen this time. I'm not holding my breath though. She said we WILL close on or before 4/30. We are planning the big move for the weekend after that then. Of course that's the weekend there are all sorts of things in town I'd like to go to. On Tuesday I got an email from the banker saying there was a problem with this thing on my credit report that wasn't my debt. She asked me to call the place the debt was for and get them to fax her a letter saying it wasn't mine. Ok I called them...they said they couldn't do anything because it was sent to a collections agency and they're the ones who put it on my credit report. While talking to her though I realized it wasn't mine but was my ex husband's sister in law's. We have the same first name and middle initial so when we were married to brothers it was very common to have things mixed up. I called the credit agency they tried to tell me that it's now a judgment.....whooooaaaaa wait a minute....this isn't even mine and you placed a judgement on me. The lady tried telling me she couldn't help me that I needed to go to the courthouse. I said nooooo I have no judgement showing up on my report.....I asked to speak to a manager. She came back again asking me what my sister in law's name was. It took me like 30 mins to get this lady to understand that I wasn't the Michelle she was looking for. I finally said hey check the ssn...I gave her my last 4 digits. She says, "that's not what we have here for you"....ummmmm hello lady that's what i've been trying to tell you it's not mine!! Finally I got a letter faxed to the banker and myself saying this was a mistake and they would be removing it from my credit report. Geeeshhhhhhh So now we should have everything cleared up and hopefully the approval is on it's way.!!!
Not much in store for today. I am tired today so I am hoping that the work day is light. The girlies will be gone out of town with their mom so we have a few nights & days to ourself. Have a great day!
Michelle, well, at least you have lots to keep you busy, and to try and keep your mind off of worrying too much about your daughter. Here's to hearing something from your bank by the end of the week regarding a firm closing date.
Last night we worried........ my DH's mom ended up in the hospital in ICU yesterday. She was having chest pains, but the ER said that it was not a heart attack. So, they admitted her for bloodwork, close observation & testing........ DH's dad called just before bedtime with an update (DH had talked to his mom twice too) and his mom was just wanting to GO HOME!!!! So, needless to say, she was just being a difficult patient. From the monitors, they could tell that she was in pain, and when the nurse would ask her... she denied it!!!! GEESH!!!!
Here's to hoping that her tests go well, and that they figure out exactly what the problem is & get her a treatment plan going.... and that she is compliant & does as she is TOLD!!!!!
More yard sale stuff to price & get from the shed to the garage......

Happy Birthday Court's Hubby!!! Dinner out sounds wonderful! I need to get to the library too....I keep saying I don't want to until we move because I will lose them but hey that might not ever happen LOL.
I had a pretty good Tuesday. Work went well, took Sadie to kindermusik, and then took her to school last night. She had a great time! My daughter made it to Louisianna safe and sound! We talked to them last night and they were in the car driving from New Orleans on their way home. I think I've accepted the fact that she's gone and I won't see her for a long time. Sadie just doesn't understand. She asked me twice yesterday if we could go to her sister's apt building.
Today I think we're going to supper at church. Nothing planned other than that. No cooking for me tonight woohoo. Actually I think there's supper at church tomorrow night as well. Fri I'll have to cook something but then not again on Sat night.
We've never left Sadie with a teenage babysitter before. I know sad she's 2 1/2. My aunt has watched her, grandma and grandpa, auntie, and my older kids. Sat we have a couples bridal shower for our youth director. We decided we'd go and asked our friend's daughter to babysit. Sadie just loves her so I'm sure they'll be fine. I think both girls are actually excited. I also have to go to the funeral for my old supervisor's husband Sat morning. How sad that will be.
Hope you all have a great hump day!!

Court, that is great that the girls were able to express themselves, that is super hard, so, glad that they were able to sit down with their mom and do that. So painful. WOW.
Michelle, that is so sad about your ex-suprevisor's husband passing away, geeze!!! And I am glad that your daughter is keeping in touch with you. That is an excellent sign. Keeping the open communication like that. GOOD MOMMA!!!!!
Have a good day, ladies
