Good Morning Everyone! It's going to be a busy work day today. I need to work an extra hour or so anyway to make up for some time I need to take off on Thursday. Thanks for thinking of us! I'm feeling somewhat better today. I'm sure it's just going to take time for me to get used to her being so far from home. She did call twice yesterday to say they were ok and the trip was going good. I was napping the first time and already in bed the 2nd time. My husband talked to her both times though.
Court, sounds like you have some very grown up girls there!! I know a lot of adults that can't do that. Be very proud of them! Watching the rain and chatting sounds like a great end to a day!
My problems were put into perspective a bit yesterday. My ex-supervisor's husband passed away yesterday. He's the same age as I am (38). It's so very sad...has 2 young children ages 6 and 9. Made me realize how small the problems I'm having are.
Sadie has kindermusic and school today so it'll be a busy one.

Well I got everything on my list accomplished yesterday and it was enjoyable. Had a long family conversation that included the girlies mom so that they could get their feelings out. I am not sure their mom how it turned out but I am so proud of them. They were honest, they managed to keep the emotions in check, it was good. A fried of mine came by and we ended up sitting on the back porch with some coffe and just chatting for a couple of hours watching it rain. What a wonderful way to end my day.
Not much going on today. Work and an evening at home. Gotta make a run to the library for some more books to read but that is it. Hope you all have a great one!!

Michelle, sorry you are sad for your daughter. I kinda put myself in her shoes, that she is excited that she has found someone to be with, and wants to be an adult. Scarey for you, I know. But, she is a big girl, and I am sure you have made it crystal clear, that she is always welcome back with you, if she ever needs it, right? Glad you were able to escape and get to see your new neices!!!
Well, just another normal work day planned here. I tuned in to see the weather forcast today, and we are supposed to have sun for the next 3 days!!! Right in time for my work week!!!! HA HA HA HA HA
Oh well, can't win them all!!!! So, summer is here, as far as I am concerened. DH is off today, and has a helping hand coming over to the house a little later, to help build the swing set. That is cool, I am sure we will all enjoy it, once it is put together.

We spent the weekend with my family at my sister's house. It was great fun. We sat around the fire Fri night just visiting. My husband took care of Sadie that night so I could just relax. I got to spend lots of time with the new baby nieces. Lots of hugs and kisses. They are sooo precious.
Well, I'm off to nurse this horrible headache and enjoy some Sadie time!
