Wonderful Wednesday........yes it is. We're on the downslide to the weekend now. I sure hope you all had a better Tuesday than I did. I'm stressed to the max right now and just want to curl up in bed and sleep for days. The move is the least of my stresses right now. As of today that's going smoothly. I did get away to take Sadie to school last night and the two of us had a great time there. She loved painting and glueing. They also had a water table out with ducks and frogs in it. It kinda matched the pouring rain outside LOL. We were singing It's raining It's pouring the old man is snoring in the car yesterday. She's amazed at the snow "going away". I keep telling her not to worry it'll be back...ahhh but I didn't mean today!!! It's snowing again!
My 19 yr old called last night just as I was going to crawl into bed. If you remember it was probably just last week I was telling you about this 26 yr old guy moving here from Louisianna to live with her that she met via myspace. Well, he's been here just a little over a week and now she's called to say she's moving with him to Louisianna. Ok they still haven't gotten together with us so we can meet him. We won't allow him in our house yet because of the fact that he threatened my son and I need to protect him as well as Sadie. We have offered to meet at a neutral place...church, coffee shop etc.. I'm sooo worked up about this whole thing....she's disabled...has cerebral palsy and is very very gullable on top of that. I know there's nothing I can do to stop her but it hurts me soooo bad. I feel like a failure as a parent...how could she just up and move with someone she doesn't even really know. We know this guy has been in prison for selling drugs on a school yard....we know he's had reports of threatening phone calls etc. We've seen him being very controlling over the phone with her let alone living with her. I just want to protect her and I can't. Ahhhhhhh
Ok done with that. As for plans for today. We are having roast beef dinner at church this evening and a missionary is going to be there to tell stories and show pictures of his missions in the Congo. Should be interesting if Sadie will let us listen to it.

House update - so the bank finally came back with their decision, they want a bit more money. We all sat last night, went over our budget and we think we can swing it so we will be calling the realtor today. Still may take a few weeks to get everything through but we hope to be in our new home soon. We do have the chance that if our appraisal comes in lower then we will get a lower price so our fingers are crossed.

Just scroll down a little. About 2 1/2 hour drive south of Anchorage. We are 45 minutes north of Anchorage..... but I am sure we could plan a camping/fishing trip!!

We did get the computer covered up last night & my hubby has strict instructions that if he uses it, to turn it off when he is finished, and to cover it back up. He is so funny, he asked me will ash hurt the compouter, RIGHT after I got done telling him that we needed to cover it, so we did not end up buying another because of the ash!!!

Yesterday was difficult. I am grumpy, tired, and struggling. I have my emotions on a tight leash right now. Our youngest is struggling with everything. She is holding it all in and we are just waiting for the erruption, Jaime you will probably be able to see the ash from it when she does finally explode. Not getting much help with the daily stuff as the girls are opting to be lazy and it is getting very old.
Michelle sounds like you are getting some great fun & family on top of your busy packing. I love my time with my neices & nephews. Well I best go get ready for work. Hope you all have a great one!

Well, it's 5:30am on Tuesday. No I'm really not in that great of a mood but hey I might as well have a positive attitude right?? I'm barely awake so hey who knows I could be in that good of a mood and just don't know it yet. We have my husband's nephew here with us until tomorrow evening so it's been a little more noisy around here but it's been good. He'll be 12 next week and Sadie loves him to pieces. He's great with her. He also has a friend down the block so he had time to get away last night as well. I spent the evening paying bills and getting the checkbook balanced etc... I am happy it's done with. Now I can pack away my bill stuff until after we move. I can't believe that there's not much left to do until next week right before the big move. I was dreaming online yesterday of how to decorate the new house. I want to do my dolphin theme in the bathroom. I found the perfect shower curtain and accessories online. Now I can't wait to order them. Woohoo it's fun! I don't necessarily NEED new stuff but it'll be nice to start fresh in the new house. Other than that I didn't do a lot last night. Today is Sadie's kindermusik class and her ECFE class tonight. DH is going to stay home with his nephew and spend some time together. We're counting down the days now......9 days to go counting today.
Court I sure hope you have some luck in the housing area soon!
Jamie....any sign of ash in your area yet? I sure hope you don't see any. Jamie, our church goes to some mission trips to the Alaskan Christian College sometimes up there. I googled and it looks like it's about 200 miles from you. I was hoping it was closer so if/when I get a chance to go with we could meet sometime. Not sure when that would be but hey a girl can dream can't she?
