Yayyy it's Friday!!  And the best part is I don't have to work any OT this weekend.   The key word there is HAVE to.   I do HAVE to work 10 hrs OT next week so could do some of it on Sun but I'm not going to.   I'll get it in during the week next week instead.   Last night was a good night at church...enjoyed good company...good dinner....and studies.   DH ended up working OT til 9pm last night.   Hopefully he won't have to tonight.   We have a Valentines party for the leadership team at church at 6.   I have a crockpot of pork cooking for pulled pork sandwiches.  The other chairman's wife is baking a ham and the rest is potluck.  Tomorrow is our dinner theatre trip and I can't wait!!   We're looking forward to watching some Olympics as well.  Trying to decide what I'm getting Sadie for a valentines gift.....I'm thinking the big preschool workbook that is dry erase at Sam's club.   She knows all her letters by sight and sound so now next is to start learning to write them.  She still has 2 plus yrs before kindergarten so no big hurry but since she's interested we might as well encourage it.

Jamie, how has the weather been for you?   I know Court has has quite the week but haven't heard anything about your weather.   Usually ours is similar.   We've had single digits below zero for a low this week but it's warmed up to about 20 for a high.   Not too bad for a MN winter.

Good morning.   Hoping and praying that Court is ok...staying in and keeping warm.   That's quite some snowstorm out her way.   Been thinking of you a lot!   We had a lot of fun playing Bingo last night.  Sadie loved it.  I think we may need to get a bingo game for at home.  My sister used to do that with her girls when they were younger to help them learn their numbers.  The residents there thought it was great to have Sadie there.   The guy sitting next to us had a great time playing with her.  We got to meet the one guy that lives there that daddy sees every day at the bus stop and talked to him.  He was happy to meet us but was frustrated that Luke didn't come with.  We got home kind of early so I got the treat bags put together for the party we have for church Fri night.   I had a great find at Walmart yesterday....they had winter 2 pc pajama sets on clearance for $3.   I was hoping to get back there to get some in bigger sizes.   I did get ones that will fit next winter but for $3 I should get even bigger ones.   Tonight is church and dinner there.   Tomorrow is the party there and then Sat we're going with 2 other couples to a dinner theatre.   I told Sadie mommy and daddy were going on a date.....didn't work she now wants to go on our date too LOL.  I told her after church Sunday we'll take her on a date.

Okay I am getting tired of my house.  I see cleaning, decorating, rearranging in my plans for today, lol.  Another 10 - 20 inches of snow predicted for tonight/tomorrow.  The girlies & friends come home tonight, we need groceries and I can't get out to get any, will probably have to have hubby stop on his way home from work which means he will be even later getting home in the mess.  Ugh!  I am so tired of this.  I just hope the weather doesn't affect my weekend trip to New York, I need the get away!!!!!

Well today was supposed to be my Monday off but the feds closed so it didn't matter.  Our blizzard has crippled us.  We have 2 feet of snow at our house, closer to 3 in to where I work.  Hubby made it in today but it took him 1 1/2 hours to get there.  They sent them out on the street but he says it is nasty and will probably end up coming home early.  The oldest of course called yesterday wanting to come home, her & her friend were tired of each other, we warned her about that but she didn't listen, we were not attempting to head out so she has to deal with it.  The youngest, also at a friends ended up heading to a different friends and it of course fine.  Saturday we shoveled the deck several times in an effort to keep the weight off of it.  Watched some movies, played games, did some cooking, etc.  Yesterday we headed outside to get some of the bad drifts out of the driveway.  I attempted to play with the dog but ended up wrenching my knee pretty badly so last night was just laying in the bed with ice watching the game.  So many around lost power and such, we were lucky as the only thing we lost was the cable/internet/phone for a bit.  2 of my sisters holed in together since the one has a generator, my mom ended up with 2 of the others and their kids as they lost power, the last one got stuck at home with no power and no way for anyone to come get her.  So it is just me and the dog home today, it will be a lazy day as my leg aches, will probably do some light cleaning, laundry, etc.  They are calling for another 4 - 8 inches tomorrow, and then another storm for the weekend, I think white is becoming my least favorite color, lol.  Hope you all have a great one.
