Good morning!   Glad you got time to relax Court.   We had a great weekend.  The weather was perfect.  Sadie's already begging to go camping again.   We camped with my mother in laws sisters and brothers and some of their kids.   Luke's cousin had his little 4 yr old girl there so Sadie had a great playmate.  When we got there Fri she didn't want to wait for us to set up the tent etc... she was ready to go fishing.   As soon as we got it all set up daddy took her fishing and they caught like 6 little fish...nothing big enough to keep but she was happy.   She spent almost all day Sat in the water swimming...it was like 85 degrees and sunny.  I spent a lot of time sitting back and jus****ching her have a good time.  Sat evening we had a fish fry with the whole family.   DH's 93 yr old grandfather even came down for about 6 hrs.   It was amazing to be there with him...he loved eating fish from the lake and really enjoyed watching Sadie eat it so well.  The land we camp on used to be his and his wife's and he has passed it down to the kids to use so there's a lot of memories there.   DH spent lots and lots of time there as a kid with his grandparents.  It was really cool to now take Sadie there and watch her enjoy it.  My favorite part of camping is sitting around the fire at night...and what a great time that was.   Luke's cousin's son brought his guitar and they passed it around I never knew his aunts and uncles were so musical.  It was fun singing old songs and listening to them tell stories from when they were young.   Sunday was bittersweet to have to come home but we will be going back many more times.  We haven't camped down there for a few yrs and are now wondering why.

Now we are on to prepare for DH's aunt and uncle from Nebraska to get here on Fri.  Oh yes and of course DH's surgery on Wed.   We still don't know what time surgery is though.   He's going to try to check on that today.

When I had my surgery it was very hard for my neices & nephews to understand that I couldn't pick them up.  Since I had to wear the band garment for a few weeks, I told them I had a big boo boo, it was my bandaid and so I couldn't pick them up, hold them, etc.  When they would forget & ask I would just remind them and offer my hand to hold instead or a big hug.  Perhaps something like that will work for her since she probably won't understand it either.  :)

Court, I hope your weekend goes better than your week.  Stress & frustration SUCK.

My aunt arrives tomorrow afternoon, so I will be visiting with her.  I will not be back to wor****il Wednesday.  WOOO  HOOO!!!!!  Unfortunately, the weather forcast SUCKS!!!!  Oh well, at last it is not -25 below.

Morning!  How are you?  Okay here.  Had another meltdown yesterday.  Just can't handle the stress right now.  I am really frustrated cause I hate feeling this way.  I ended up coming home from work early, taking a nice long nap, and then stayed in the bed all evening and read.  Not very sociable but it helps to keep the attitude away from others.

Not much planned this weekend.  We are trying to keep it low key so that we can be prepared when we figure out what is going on with the house.  I will be spending some time with my dad & stepdad at some point just haven't gotten those details together yet.  Hubby starts vacation today, I will be on vaction once I finish up work today, we have the girlies all week so I am sure we will find things to do. 

Sounds like you all have some great plans with family getting ready to visit, Michelle's hubby having surgery and such!  Hope you guys have a great one!

Oh Court I don't wish what we just went through on anyone but it seems as though you're having to go there.   It is not any fun at all.  
Had a good evening here....I worked my OT after dh got home last night.  After that we got a lot of our camping stuff for tomorrow loaded into the car.   We decided we need to buy a car top carrier before we go camping in Aug when my son comes with or we'll never fit.  Today is working 9 hrs then I have to get things together for supper at church tonight.   There are 3 of us pulling together to do supper.   We're having super nachos.   I made the meat and also made a rhubarb cake and rhubarb sauce for dessert.   The rest is taken care of by the other ladies.   Although I will have help getting it all set up from one of them and then will probably be cleaning up by myself.  The one lady will not be there at all and the other has worship team practice afterwards.   After that I have to come home and get those last minute things together.   We found out this morning that my husband's aunt and uncle from Nebraska will be here next weekend.   I'm sooo excited to see them.   We went out there last summer for a visit and had a great time.  It should be a lot of fun to see them again.  Hopefully hubby will feel up to visiting that soon after surgery.   He says he will one way or another.
