Hunter was SOOOOOO darn cute this morning.... He says to me "we gonna wake up in the camper and have breakfast?" And then a bit later, he says, "we gonna go nite nite in the camper?"
So, he totally looking foward to that!!!
DH got Sat & Sun off, so this is our 2nd camping trip this summer, and our first "full" weekend YAY!!!!!
Tuesday is our 2 year anniversary. Hard to believe, we had Hunter 3 years go, got married 2 years ago, and moved 1 year ago. Talk about doing almost all of "the big life changes" BAM, BAM, BAM.
Have a GREAT weekend, ladies!!!!

Camping stories.......I guess I do remember being bit by a spider as a little girl and having my leg swell up huge....was very close to having to go to the hospital but somehow my dad took care of it. Other than that I have no bad stories. We're going to set up the new tent tonight...Sadie is soooo excited. She wanted to buy new blankies and pillows to put in there....we had to tell her no we'll just put the ones we already have in there. She did get a new lifejacket last night though. We had a good evening at church last night. After 9 hrs of work today, Sadie and I are going to get grocery shopping done and hopefully put away before DH gets home so he doesnt' have to look at the food. He's doing so well with the liquid diet...I think better than I did. He's a little worried that the weekend will be harder as he won't have work to keep him busy. I told him no worries I have plenty to keep him busy LOL. Not a lot on the agenda other than getting stuff done around the house this weekend so we can head out next weekend. We are going to fit in a trip to see both her real grandpa and the adopted one to give them their father's day gifts since we'll be gone next weekend. We'll have church on Sun as well. Speaking of church my husband and I are taking on a pretty big project at our church. Our pastor had talked about starting up a MOPS group but we talked about it last night and decided that with the changing times it might be more beneficial to have a group for not just moms but all parents. So, my husband and I are in charge of trying to get this off the ground. I think we're going to start with once or twice a month on a Sat mornings. Not sure exactly what we'll do with this but we can do just about anything we want.
Well, my break is over I better get to work! Have a great weekend ladies!!
I have to say you guys crack me up with your camping stories. I had a bad experience as a teen so I still don't really like camping. The closest I have come is to put the tent up in my dad's back yard a few times. It definitely isn't something big on my list to do.
Have a great day & a wonderful weekend.
The other tent didn't leak at all but when we had it up we had very high winds and one of the poles snapped. We've tried all week to call and get a replacement but can't get through to the company. My sister said they called for one on their tent and found it was not worth getting it cuz it cost way too much just for a pole. We decided to just scrap it and get a whole new tent. We're hoping to make camping a much bigger part of our summer lives so it'll be worth it. My husband's family has land on a lake so we don't even have to pay for a campsite. Not sure why we haven't done more of it yet.
Michelle, the other tent leaked, huh?? Well, at least you have a new one, and hopefully Saturday Sadie & dad can camp out in the yard again!!
Last night was fun, we got there, and got in line to get dinner, then we sat, and ate, and visited with people we knew. Walked over to the science exhibit, they had a round ball, and when they turned it on, there would be electricity that would come off the ball, and then, they also had a girl who stepped up on a little stool, and held the ball, and her hair sttod straight out from her head!!!! Hunter made spin art, and slime as well. Then, we went over & looked at Martin Buser's puppies, Hunter had a grin from ear to ear!!!
And they also had local blueberry ice cream, the boys sure liked that!!
So, it was nice last night!!! We didn't stick around and wait for the drawings, but that is alright.
Have a GREAT day ladies!!!!

Morning! I'm getting a little energized finally. Been up for over 2 hrs...had to run to the store to get some caffeine. I've been so tired this week. Ohhh Court 7:30 sounds sooo good. I'm lucky if I get into bed by 10:30pm and then am up at 5am every day. Oh I so hope your closing goes through for next Fri....here's to no delays for you!! I'm so excited for you.
Jamie, how was your dinner last night? Hopefully you all had a good time.
We made it through Luke's first day of his liquid diet. He said it wasnt' too bad except for when he first got home from work. I felt so guilty eating a grilled cheese sandwich LOL. We ended up at the urgent care to get my foot xrayed from when I tripped last Thurs. Nothing broken thanfully..just a bad strain he said. We went shopping and got a new tent last night so now tomorrow night we'll have to tackle getting it set up and then Sat will be spent sealing it so we can camp next weekend. We told Sadie hopefully Sat night we can sleep out there. She'll be so excited for next weekend. Tonight is church...we're doing a light supper and then doing a work night...so odd jobs around the church that need to be done. Luke's going to go and get started a bit early on the work part while we all have dinner. Our pastor has been talking to him since he's done 2 40 day fasts before and knows how hard it can be.
Well, I better get to work. Have a great Thursday!
My turn now. Here's a link to our city! http://www.visitduluth.com/
It's such a beautiful city we live in right on Lake Superior. I live about a mile and a half from downtown. We live right near the Iron Ore docs...like we can see them out our front window.
Thank you so much.....Alaska is such a beautiful place I can't wait to come there!
