Michelle, glad that Sadie had such a great time last night.
Hunter has woken up for the 3rd morning in a row with dry underwear, no more pull-ups!!!!
Granted, i am getting up around 12:00-1:00 to get him up to pee, but it will all be worth the effort.
.............As I am telling my sister this today, she tells me her 5 year old is still in pull-ups at night!!!
So, I definately feel we are ahead of the potty curve!!! YEA!!!!
Off on Friday, Hunter's b-day. And, it turns out, a 4-day weekend, as well!!!! Cool!!!!
Have a GREAT DAY/Afternoon!!!!

Morning!! I have a headache this morning and just feeling icky. Hopefullly the sunshine will help...too bad I can't be outside in it. We had a good evening yesterday. Sadie loved her last night of school for the yr. She's sure going to miss that interaction with the kids this summer. Strange weather here in MN....we live in Northern MN and my family lives in southern MN...3 1/2 hrs apart...we had 42 degrees and wind yesterday and they had a high of 99!! Great news hubby has a date for his lapband...it's June 24th. He's very ready for it. Not worried about the surgery or afterwards just very apprehensive about the 2 wk liquid diet prior to surgery. We are also planning a 4th of July camping trip and now trying to decide if we'll be able to go for the weekend or just plan on going for one of the days. I think we'll wait till the time comes to decide.
Thanks for the support on the daughter front!! We've not made any decisions mostly because she hasn't called back yet. We're wondering if something happened the other day to upset her because she just doesn't deal with stuff well and might have jumped to saying she wanted to go home. We'll see I guess.
Court keeping my fingers crossed for you on the home front. What a frustrating time it must be. I sure hope they can get something done for you!!
Michelle, I do have to say that at 18 I moved out of my mom's house. It only lasted a few months and then I was back. It was reassuring to know she was there for me. We did have a long sit down first and discussed rules, etc. before hand. I hope you and your daughter are able to figure something out that would work for both of you. I know with the job market the way it is it could be difficult for her.
We did not get to look at the other house on Monday as it went under contract over the weekend. There are some money issues with the one we have been waiting on. It is at a point of the last option for approval and if it doesn't work out then the offer is done. I am hoping some miracle happens and it works out as we haven't seen anything else we are really interested in and do not want to have to start at the beginning again.
Court, hope you have a good day, and can relax & then get a good nights sleep to get caught up!!!
Michelle, if I remember correctly, your daughter just left, like 6-8 weeks ago, why does she want to come back so soon? I understand that you miss her, but, she should stay and try there. I only say that, from my personal experience..... (When i was younger... late teens, early 20's... if things "didn't work out" I would pick up & move... I thought that would "change" things for the better. I never realized... until my mom said to me.... "STOP moving around, take time, and keep trying")
Just my own experince.
Engaged? WHOA!!! WOW!!!! That is a huge step. Well, in a parents eyes, you know, when you & I were growing up, having a necklace & wearing a guys ring aound your neck on that necklace was a HUGE step, huh?
Go slow, tell your daughter to "stop jumping" (moving & such) Again.... my own personal opinion.
Nothing planned here today, just to enjoy the weather.

I'm slowly getting into this day! Didn't do anything big yesterday but the weather was beautiful Sadie and I played at the park while daddy played bocce ball. We brought a picnic supper along and she loved it!! Nothing planned for today other than her music class and her last ECFE class for the yr. She's sure going to miss that this summer.
Oh latest update is my 19 yr old called and wants to know if she and her fiance..yes they're now engaged...can come back here. Not sure how we feel about that whole issue. I'd love for her to be back but this would mean they would have to stay with us until they get jobs and an apt.
Have a good one everybody!
Friday Fling went well for DH, he did make a profit, after all of the expense of getting the booth rental, and the City License. A small profit, but a profit!!! And, he did get some excellent information, it RAINED the whole day too.... so, I think he did really well, despite the poor turn out of people/customers, but, all in all, for a first time, he took home information, and a profit!! So, to, me, that s EXCELLENT!!!!
DH worked Sat & Sun, so Hunter & I had a good weeked, Saturday, we went to a race, and I entered him, and he won a medal (all the kids got medal's) He a GREAT time!!!!
Sunday, we went out and saw my mom (Gramma Rosie) and we had fun with her, then, he fell asleep on the way home (it is a 45 minute drive from her house) so I drove around a bit, until he woke up, and then, we went to a park!!!! HE HAD A BLAST!!! The entire 2 days we were together, it was sunny, the weather was just SO AWSOME!!!!
Court, have a nice day off, and let me know how the house walk-thru goes!!!
