Topic: White Face
Shadows pass across my face
wondering where is my place
For in this world I do not fit
so restlessly, alone i sit
You talk of money fortune and fame
yet i find this talk somewhat lame
It's matters of the heart most concerning me
the light within that most don't see
I watch the world roll slowly by
and knowing it's useless, still I try
I'm here for awhile, I have no choice
maybe some day you'll hear my voice
I am a person looking for a place
an open heart, a smilling face
A person to listen to understand
a person to lend a loving hand
Until that day I'll paint my face white
a symbol of my lonely plight
A mask to wear for all to see
until another white face finds me
Topic: RE: Silent Drops
hi
i love this poem. it is so true of how i feel.
would you mind if i shared this poem with my brother?
we've had arguments because of the things i can't do
he just doesn't understand
Topic: Longing To Get Out
I have had to sit out
on the sidelines
for so long
pretending to be happy
just to watch
but inside i've died
i long to be a part of life
even just a little
you thought i was being lazy
i know you don't understand
and never will
but soon
oh so soon my friend
i will shed this extra me
and i will be a part of it
i will live again
rather than just exsist
and you will not recognize me
you will never understand
how i've had to live
you will never know
what i've gone through
bu****ch out baby
here i come

Topic: The Magic of the Unicorn
She wears white socks upon her feet
to cloak others in her image
but nay she speaks a word to me for fear i might discover
Her coat it gleams in splendous hues
of purple, red and black
her main and tail shine pure and ****e
Shes' a mythical creature in my mind
for on her head she sports a horn
it's crystal clear and hollow through
to play it's magic notes
And as she fills my ears with tunes
she changes before my eyes
Now she is a firefly
to light my darkend path
Again her form changes
within her symphony
She stands before me in human form
so much like unto mine
I blink my eyes
and there she stands on all fours
Her symphony has ended
but still her eyes unblinkingly
stare into my own
conveying her secret to my mind
And suddenly it dawns
as she fades out of sight
I faintly hear her music say
that this unicorn is the magic
that lives inside of me

Topic: A Poem That Doesn't Cry
he
saw me
covered under the words
from my crown down to my feet
he
saw me
under the laughter
after the stage lights had gone dim
it was him
that used my poetry to discover me
the possibility
that there just may be some thing more
than the metaphors
and broken words
of poems crying
from a heart too open
he saw me
the insecurities that made me different
and i don't know
just maybe he wanted to see
a beautiful poem come out of me
a poem that doesn't cry
Topic: The view
Looking into the mirror to see ,is it me that i see
I survived obesity, can it be this is me, can it be?
Looking back who is that so tall and thin, so open from within
Looking back to where i've been, that is me I am thin
The journy was worth it no matter what the cost, I gained a new me
and look what i've lost
OBESITY

Topic: RE: "Baby"
You want to act like you know me, go right ahead. You might want to read the notice at the bottom of the screen when posting. I am not here to fight, there are other places and time. You are not a friend of mine, don't try to pretend you are. You are not a member of my family, you have no rights poking you nose where it doesn't belong. It will come back to bite you in the butt.
