Hi, I wanted to say Hello, and would like friends to talk with. My Daughter is an officer, and is trying for State. How have you dealt with job and recoup from surgery? Thanks, Marilyn

I am still preop but I had a friend that had it who is an officer and he was back working in 2 weeks with no problems.

Hi Marilyn. I am an officer in New jersey, and just shy of 3 weeks post-op. I returned to work yesterday, 19 days after RNY. I am doing quite well, and my recovery (so far) seems quite easy. I have been keeping up with my profile, and if you would like to view it, please do, as I have lots of info in it. PS: Of course EVERYONE stares, and as I have returned to work about 28 pounds lighter already, I even get positive comments!

congrats on your surgery Neil and your 28 lbs loss! Glad to hear you are recovering so well. The comments are pretty cool. There will only be more and more. I get them EVERYDAY and I am 6 mos post op. Just you wait!
