HOWEVER.. many women have had children that late.. so it's not a "No."
Seeing a reproductive endo would be smart.

I too was having problems.. six week periods and pain and massive mood swings... ALLLLL of my ultrasounds were normal and the doctor scheduled me for an endometrial ablation. When she cut into me to finish performing some other procedures that were being done at the same time, she found a grapefruit sized tumor that all four ultrasounds--- external and internal-- had missed. It was over 2 pounds and was attached to my right ovary. It had apparently been there for some time and to remove it she had to take the ovary and fallopian tube at the same time...
What was supposed to be a 50 minute procedure and be home by dinner ended up being 5 hour and we will let you go home tomorrow event...
I don't say this to scare you but to tell you that the ultrasounds don't show everything... the surgeon even halted the procedure and called her office to make sure the ultrasound had been read correctly... it had-- it just didnt read ME correctly
the transvaginal ultrasound showed no abnormalities and had we just let it go at that test I would have left a huge tumor inside me... it was benign thank G-d but it definitely needed to be out of me and i am glad its gone!
Rebecca- who is hoping to have a lap band procedure now that she thinks she has stopped being scared of the whole thing.... I have attended the information session and see the Dr 12/31

I wouldn't have the slightest clue about what is going on, but you have my sympathies.

I talked to my pcp who scheduled me for two ultrasounds. One was done on my abdomen to rule out appendicitis. The other was internal with the wand to get a better look at my uterus and ovaries. Neither scan showed anything abnormal. They told me to call back if it happens again. Since then it has happened several more time but I haven't made another appointment because im afraid they think I am nuts.
I did some research and found out about a condition called mettelschmertz (german for middle pain), which is painful ovulation and occurs with 20% of women. However, all articles and even my pcp confirmed at my physical on Nov 2 that I couldn't have this because I am on the pill and therefore do not ovulate.
My concern is there is something wrong on the inside of me and I won't be able to get pregnant next year.
Does anyone have any clue as to what may be going on with me? I want to call my doc and sked another appointment but feel as though I am bothering them with my pain that no one can find the cause for. My last pap was done on Nov 2 and was normal. I also had an internal that day and my doc says everything appears to be fine.
