Weight: initial-320, , surgery- 291.2 now -205 had baby july 1, 2011 Regained to 242 (due to unemployment) t goal weight _ what ever it ends at.
I am scheduled for surgery Dec 2nd and am new to this board. I have a question about whether ladies with excessive facial hair who have lost most of their weight have noticed a reduction in the number of hairs and the color. Right now, I have hundreds of dark hairs around my neck and chin area that I pluck and I am so tired of it.
I also have a mild case of adult acne and wonder if that begins to diminish with weight loss too. Do my hormones become more in balance over time?
Thank you for your time.

You can buy Vaniqua at Costco?? I had no idea. I use it and I love it. You just definitely have to stick with it and follow the directions. I put it on faithfully twice a day just like it says. It has made a huge difference for me. Especially if i pluck everything out instead of just shaving it, then put the cream on WOW that helps so much. YOu cant even tell. And believe me i have it thick! When i started it i let it grow as much as i could stand it during the weekend away from everyone to see and then plucked it out and put the cream on. I think thats what made the difference for me is getting the hair from the root as much as i could. Its so light now and if i do have so that grows back that i missed with the cream or if i forget ot put it on, they are very fine hairs, you cant even see them and they are soft, not all stubbly. I really love the cream. I'd rather use if for the rest of my life than be the "bearded lady".

I live in Austraila so I'm not to sure of the differences. I get a full blood work up every yr and I always have it back within 3 full working days. If I go in on a friday morning they would be back by Tuesday, if I went in Friday afternoon they would be back by Wednesday.
Hope that helps

I am not a Dr. but I am starting to wonder if our bodies have a set weight at which they are happy and everything functions so much better. Even 20 pounds ago, I was not having any symptoms.
I had surgery (RNY) in 2002. Exactly one month to the day after surgery, I got my own period. ALL ON ITS OWN!!!! And 7 years later, it hasn't stopped coming. I am also "fertile myrtle" and have have had 4 pregnancies in 4.5 years (2 babies, though). Let me say, that with the pregnancies, my weight has gone up and I am 30 pounds over my lowest weight and I still menstruate regularly but on longer cycles (28-33 days). I think you've hit your "right" weigh to get things rolling.
Good luck.
