I am only 3 months out, but after a month out I had a period, and it has been like clock work every since. I am now on the pill, so we will see what happens.

FYI...My cramps are still HORRIBLE. I am sorry to tell you, but its the truth. I only take over the counter stuff though, and it seems to help as long as I take it every 3 hours....and not a minute after. lol

I dont know whats going on, but I would not just assume its cancer. There are soooo many different things that could be going on. I would suggest doing exactly what you are doing, and go see the doctor. I hope all is well.

I didnt have RNY, but from what I hear it is perfectly safe. You just have to make sure you always eat QUALITY foods. A friend of mine got preggo at about 8 months out, she had a 7 lb baby and they both did/are doing just fine.

Topic: Hysterectomy after lap-band
Hi Guys!

On July 16th I had a total abdominal hysterectomy with both ovaries removed and my cervix. (Had bi-lateral PCOS, 2 large Fibriods, and was riddled with Adenomyosis)

Well here it is 4 weeks post op today and feeling SOOOOO discouraged!!!

I had 1/2 cc removed from the band a week before the surgery, and when I did that I had almost no restriction, so now I have NO restriction.
Now I have gained between 5 and 10 lbs and am craving all the bad stuff! I can not get in to get another fill till the 1st and I am soooooo afraid!

Anyone else gain weight after??

I was about to asks the same question just a little different. One of the main reason I chose lap band at first is because I'm not done having children...or as of right now I don't think I am. Is it really safe to get pregnant after having the RNY? How do they go about doing that with such a little pouch? Just another question of the top of my head.

I had one removed in 2007. It was the size of a grapefruit and was full of dark hair ( I know hairball gross, lol) I had mine done open b/c of the size and I was in the hospital 2-3 days I think. The incision was just like the incision they make for a c/s and I can't even see the scar now. I recovered well and had no other problems. Hope everything goes well with you. P&PT's.

I got pregnant at 11 months post op. I have PCOS and had never been pregnant. After surgery I tried BCP but I bled for like 2 months so I stopped them and we didn't use any for of birth control b/c I guess in my mind it just wasn't gonna happen. I lost 100 lbs and got very close to my goal ( I was at my surgeons goal) and it just happened we weren't trying weren't timing nothing. So as of now I am 22 weeks pregnant and doing fine. My weight loss had kinda come to a stand still and I was only losing like a lb here and there so no one was too concerned. I would say it is definatley possible ( never would have felt this way if it hadn't happened to me) and I say when your weight loss steadies go for it if thats what you want. I have heard of people getting pregnant 5 even 3 months after surgery and having little to no complications and having health babies. P&PT's.
