I`m a 22yr old female who has recently being diagnosed with pcos, this was after not getting my period for the last 2 years. however i have no other symptoms as of yet! im naturally very skinny, and was wondering am i in line to get more symptoms as time progresses?? like do things like acne, weight gain and hair growth develop over time or am i in line for them in the future? or do some people with this condition not experience any other side effects??
anu help would be much appreciated as this is weighing heavily on my mind!!

I have the same thing, plus excess facial hair.the skin is clearing up, I've seen no improvement of the tags. Good luck with your prep for surgery.

Hi, I also have pcos. I  am taking 1000 mg.of metformin. also yaz for bithcontro for regular periods. I have male pattern baldness to the point I don"t look at the back or top of my head.  I started out with very thin hair  as it was, alot of fasial hair. happy trail. and alot of extra weight.  My doctor tried all one at a time to see what each do. I also tried cutting carb's to 35 mgs a day. that sucked but lost 15 lbs. then gained 20lbs in one month and 10 2 months after that.  so what I have learned is  50mg. Spironolactone helped the best with my hair loss and all body hair alot. I thinkk the recomended is 200 mg. It makes me very thirsty and have a dry mouth so I have to increase it slow.hope this helps.

Hey, I was born in New Brunswick, NJ at Saint Mary's Hospital 41 yrs ago....I live in CA now.

Im trying to beat this PCOS thing naturally before turning to WLS. My family is too concerned about it and I want to give myself a shot at it before going under the knife. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding fat burners or something that can stimulate weight loss ? Im taking metformin, working out 30 mins a day and eating organic. Just started BCP and I hope it doesn't effect my weight anymore. Any natural supplements or dietary aid suggestions ???
