This sounds like something I can handle! Is there any pain?
I have one tiny tag on my eyelid, any idea if iodine is safe to use there?
I'll have to google this stuff.

Hi, So I have a home remedy for skin tags. It sounds absurd, but my grandmother told me about it. It worked for her. It worked for my aunt. And, it worked for me! Iodine! Yes, Iodine. lol. Take a Q tip. Dip it in the iodine and rub it on the skin tag. It will leave that orangie color but it works. Do it twice a day for as long as it takes. The bigger the tag the longer it will take. I had a good sized one and it took about a week and a half or so. It gets really dry and it will just fall off. Hope it helps. Let me know if you try it and how you made out!

Praying for you.... I am now going to round 2 of fertility treatment. I am on Femara, Follistim, then Ovidrel... but they told me to wait until day 13 after the Ovidrel shot to test for pregnancy.

Anyway..I got my period 1 day ahead of time so I know I am definitely not pregnant :-(

So I went to see the fertility doctor. He put me on clomid and also I got a Ovidrel shot in the stomach. I have to wait till next week on wed. to see if I am pregnant. I hope that it works the first time. I feel horrible. Sick and sooo tired and extremly sensitive to smell. I dont think I have ever been so tired in my whole life. Hopefully its a good sign! Pray for me!!

I too have PCOS. I am only 2 1/2 weeks out since my RNY so i cant say what the long term is yet on my PCOS. My endocrinoligist took me off the metformin xr ( 2000mg also****il I go back and see him at 6 weeks post op. I also hate that i grow a beard and thats the one thing I hope gets better with time.... I also am going to go do laser hair removal soon so i will let everyone know how that goes.

Hi guys! I am going to be having the VSG in February. I have had PCOS since Moses was a boy and am currently taking Metoformin XR 2000 mg every night at bedtime. I was wondering about taking the Met after the surgery.

What I want to know is how long post-op did you wait to re-start the Met and if your PCOS symptoms ever improved. I would soooo love to not grow a beard faster than DH. Have a great night and God Bless!

It was my understanding that extended release meds weren't effective on RNY and DS. And Fortamet is the extended release version of metformin. Something abouth the coating on the pill that makes it extended release doesn't allow it to be absorbed by those who have malabsorbed tracks.

Thank you girlie! Hang in there and keep your head up...lots of baby dust coming your way!! I was in total shock when I found out and it's still setting in, so never give up hope. It took me years and thankfully I didn't end up going the fertility drug route, but that was what I was told was my only option and now here I sit 10 weeks pregnant with my miracle baby. God works in mysterious ways!
