Hi Lizzy,

I too have had skin tags.  They were on my neck and seemed to grow with time.  I spoke with my doctor about it and she could have removed them by burning them off.  Thy are caused by skin rubbing on something.  That is why you will find them on your neck under your armpits possibly your chest.  There is a new product out that claims to remove them by freezing them and they fall off.  I simply got a pair of tweezers and pulled them off.  Be prepared because they bleed alot.  Just pulling them off myself worked fine once the bleeding stopped.  If I see any of the little bumps returning a rip them off right away and no problems.  I hope this helps you.

Thanks,
ScoularJ

Hi cysters, this is my first post in the PCOS forum!

My question today is about tags.  Do/did you have them?
Did they change or lessen at all after your surgery?
I really hate the ones at my neck and I'm thinking of seeing a dermatologist.
Any ideas for home solutions?
How do you deal with these annoyances?

Thanks!
Lizzy

Congrats! That gives me hope! I've never had regular periods and have never been able to get pregnant. Since surgery my periods have been like clockwork every month now. This is the first time in a long time that I've had them back to back. Usually It's one or two per year if I'm lucky.
Hope you have a healthy and happy 9 months!

Topic: RE: Fertility Doctor TOMORROW
I did rounds of provera and chlomid, now I have a beautiful three year old daughter. One suggestion though- if the doctors office says that you did not conceive, wait another 7-10 days before starting the provera. The doctor told me I hadn't ovulated or conceived, but I just thought "You know, I think I'm pregnant" so I waited. After another 7 days all the blood work came back that I WAS pregnant. If I had taken the I would miscarried my daughter. Women with PCOS, as we all know, have funky bloodwork at times, so just wait an extra week.

That's my two cents anyway...

Thank you all so much!! I'm still having a hard timebelieving this is happening to me, but I made a trip to the Department of Health yesterday and tested positive for them. However, they went by my last period cycle, which as a diagnosis of PCOS can run far and few and in between. My last period was in March, but I started my next birth controls to have a period and took a pregnancy test before I started taking them and it was negative. They put me estimated due date as December 18, 2010, but I'm sure once I visit the OB next Wednesday that will all change!

I will send a quick update next week when I find out more! Thank you all again for your kind words!

Hugs

Topic: RE: Hi All
I absolutely had trouble losing weight due in part to PCOS. Even after having gastric bypass, I lose more slowly than others who do not have PCOS. I'm ok with it though, just means my body has more time to adjust to it's new size :)
