Need your ideas for food...
What food items do you serve at your support group meetings?
We always have the hospital do a fresh fruit tray and offer water bottles.
I normally do a salad with protein or a sugar free dessert, or a wing platter etc..
I am fresh out of ideas and need to prep something for tomorrow nights meeting.
Thanks-
VAL

Hi Val,
Have you considered a deli platter? Shaved Turkey, Ham, and chicken breast with cheese cubes, Maybe add some boiled egg wedges - protein protein protein ---- It's always a winner at my events.
I actually picked up a great pinwheel platter at Cosco for my last party they were ham & cheese and Turkey and cheese - huge hit for the WLS crew.
Best of luck,
Sharon
Hello,
I have a question, why do you have to serve food?? The idea of a support group meeting is to support those who have questions, concerns etc. To feed them is sort of defeating a lot of purposes. Serving Chicken wings, if I read your email, is total not appropiate. Eating all that fat is not good for anyone. We have just as many people as you do, but we are there to help people not to feed them. We have speakers and guests. This is what Support Group Leaders do. I am sure this is not what you wanted to here, but facts are facts. Support is the magic word, not what is there to eat.
