No quilters out there?
Hi Everyone,
I'm a quilter (mostly applique) in Maryland. I even took a part time job on Sunday afternoons to support my "habit." The job is fun AND I get a 25% discount and six free classes a year. I'm currently working on the border to my queen-size Baltimore Album quilt. The border is going to go all the way to the floor, so it may take just as long to do the border as it did to do the top. Like most quilters, I have other projects in progress so I don't get bored working on just one thing. I like the idea of a round-robin challenge....as long as my block can be appliqued and not pieced.... lol

I'm a wanna be quilter from Northern Virginia (yes, it's different from the rest of Virginia). I've started a Tropical Forest quilt (cause I have exotic birds) but haven't got it lined up quite right. I've had to redo, undo, do overs. I've got a closet full of material and really love the log cabin quilts. I also started a memory quilt to display people that I have worked with. I had to stop cause I could not find any Williamsburg Material. Please Help! it's navy blue with a white stripe.
Hi Diana!
I am originally from Boston and have been quilting since 1973. I used to sell my quilts in the old days (BC= before children). I currently live in the SF Bay area. I am in the process of WLS. Getting all of the tests done etc. I will be going through Stanford. Don't have a date yet and am in the process of losing 10% of my body weight, but I'm not in a big rush. I want to do it right and do what is best for me.
Hope we talk again soon
Dianne
