hi everyone!

Hi fellow quilters.... I am emailing to see if any of you might be willing to help me with a very special project! My 11 yr old son and I have been making memorial patch quilts to honor 9/11 for 1 1/2 yrs now. These are made out of fire/ems patches to honor those lost on 9/11. We have donated 2 quilts to date and I am currently working on the one going to the Pentagon when it is done. This is where I need help! I am a novice quilter and want to make something special on some of my 6X6 inch blocks that I am doing on the border of the quilt. I am looking for ideas. All our quilts are donated and paid for our of my own money,,, I am married to a medic and it hit home... esp living so close to the Pentagon.
