QUILT LESSONS

To Anna Marie I live in Crossville but travel to Knoxville quite frequently to take quilt lessons at JoAnne Fabrics. They have great teachers and are very helpful. They also have beginning classes for quilters. They have new classes each quarter and if you register by a certain date you can get 50% off on the class. Classes range from $25 - $40 without the 50% off. If you get a chance to go by there ask for Laurie Brobst and she can help you. Good Luck Kathy

I am a self taught quilter. I tape Simply Quilts on HGTV which has been a valuable teacher. The JoAnne Fabrics store by my office is one of my favorite places. A number of employees know me by name and are excited about my surgery scheduled on 09/29/03. They have asked when they can expect to see me after the surgery. If/when I ever move to TN, I'll have to look you up. We love the Crossville area and have friends in The Glade. I have been to the Highway 127 sale a couple of times. It's a hoot!!!! Quilting is my passion - Stash, I have a room!!!! I started a quilt group at church and donated a ton of stuff for us to start with. My WLS is Monday, November 24.
