Who's started their blocks?

Just a quick note to say, I finished my blocks Sunday evening. Still had to get more background fabric. Fat quarter plus 12 inches don't make a half yard piece. Think I only needed two squares of 5.5 inches. My wife even said that they would look good made up as a quilt. Have enough scrape to make a couple welcomes. Bob. On to what project now . . . .

I did choose a pattern (finally) - Broken Dish - which I thought was appropriate in a way and altered somewhat by adding in the 2nd color. I'm raring to start. Mary

I have started my blocks also. I have all the pieces cut out. I am going with the Arrow Star block that is in my Quilter's Mix and Match blocks book. I had originally picked out another one and started a few and just didn't like it, but this one I am really happy with....too late to change again!!! Gotta go and work on them Angie
