Wow, Just got OR date! and found this site! Great day!

I have been roaming through this Obesity.com site for a while and just found this site-its great. Today I found out my surgery will be Aug 4th. Am excited, but nervous. Have about 15 pounds to loose yet-and now will have a new surgeon, as Dr. Lane at BTC in Ypsi is leaving. New surgeon Dr., Poplawski-looks like an okay guy from what I read. I'll try to catch this site more often==look forward to learning lots from you all!

Hey Anne, I got my date too...June 27th. I just had to write cuz I haven't seen any other nurses from Michigan on this site. I used to stop at Pinconning for cheese and beef jerky every year on my way up to our cottage in the U.P. Ahhh, memories. Mary

Well, by now you've had your surgery....I'm jealous....I have to wait 5 days. I don;t go on line often enough, so I just got this message. You know how it is, work full time, kids, house, hubby, shopping, stuff--keeps me busy. Where do you work--I work in Saginaw at St. Mary's Hospital. Well, I hope things are well with you.
