Hi Robin, I just found this board tonight. I had surgery 9/14... down 37 pounds... slow loser but still a loser! Good luck on your surgery on the 6th. Just wanted to say HI!

Hey girls, I have checked in from time-to time, but this is frankly not an active board. I just had sx 11/22 RNY, and would love to chat if you start a string here! Good luck on your upcoming! I had a little problem (could have been real bad if it wasn't for my awesome surgeon taking me back to sx at 1 am!). They found a 1250 cc hematoma just below the diaphragm, where I had complained of uncontrolled pain all day (go figure!), had a sleeping pulse in the 140's, and I know a lot from my JP. I was so unstable (now that I am oriented and can realize that), I wasn't even able to advocate for myself. I ended up getting 4 units of PRBCs on Wedensday, and discharged Thursday. Feeling glad that is over, and a little better each day. I am still not as good as I hoped to be, but I was set back about a week I think. Ready to get this JP out Tuesday; the site is getting sore!

Hey...I'm an RN. I have my consult tomorrow with the surgeon. I am hoping all goes well especially with this new BCBS ordeal. I think I have all my ducks in a row so to speak. Let us know how you are doing since surgery on the 6th as soon as you are able. We are rooting for you. Beth
