Hi Again!
I am 38 years old. I am 5 feet 2 3/4 inches. I have four children ages 19 to 8. I work fulltime as a nurse manager in Interventional Radiology at a local hospital. It has been a challenge for me to find the time to exercise

which I think is the one thing I do for myself that benefits me the most. I had to decide that I was important and "found" the time--because I am doing this for myself!!

How about you? Thanks for your words of encouragement--I certainly feel great. In half a hair--you'll be right here with me!! Feel free to contact me via email if you wish.
Meg

Meg,
I'm as excited as you are. I can't wait to be on the losing side. I just imagine myself getting smaller instead of larger and I get a little teary. In a sign of pure optimism, this weekend I bought a size small peach/pink outfit. It was so feminine and sweet. I think that for me the obesity has been somewhat defeminizing. I'm putting the outfit up in the closet. I'm wearing a large now but believe that in 6mos I will be wearing a small. I'm 5'2" and 206#. I was originally 258# but had a lap band surg in Nov 2002, then the band broke and I had a repeat surgery in Sept 2003, since then I've had a couple of obstructions and the doctor had to remove the fluid from the band. So now, I am regaining wt. I literally wake up at night and think about myself getting bigger. However, the desperation is finally ending. My RNY is scheduled for 06/07. Thanks be.
Good luck on the losing side! May all your imaginings become memories of fulfilment. I'm beaming positive thoughts your way.
