I'm David. I am a new grad RN. Sooo excited. I had my surgery 1 week ago. I am starting to apply for jobs, since I still have 5 weeks off of work. I am hoping for an ER/ICU new grad job.

Diana, Good luck with your TT. I am looking forward to having mine done next yr no matter is insurance pays for it or we do. I hope you have a speedy recovery. I know my friends that have had them do well. I have been told by then the worst is with the arms and thighs. That they can be very painful and have a slower recovery time. Best Wishes Mariah

Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes. I survived the classes and pre-op testing this week. I didnt hear that anything was abnormal yet so I hoping all went well. I have about 11 days left. Im so excited. Hope you all are doing well. I only have 7 more nights to work and them Im taking 6 weeks off unless I get to bored. I thought I would take advantage of the summer off and spend it with family in the pool. I hope u are all doing well. Mariah

Hi Dee I check in every once in a while. I'm a RN in a correctional facility right now, but have a background in L&D, Med-Surg and geriatrics. I'm about 1 month post op. I'm hoping to go back to the hospital after I get some weight off. I'm kinda happy to go back to work because I finaly get the am shift after having to file a grievance.
