Protein bullets not good??

Just an FYI to any of you that may read this. I just got a study that was e-mailed to me by unjury.com about the New Whey Bullets and also the Profect bullets. The results are crazy. What it comes down to is that these are both mostly filled with collagen protein which is basically of no value when it comes to measuring protein by what's good for us. (They both have tiny tiny amounts of Whey protein in them). It's called a PDCAAS score *basically a "protein score" by what's good for us...and it ranges from 0 to 100. These bullets only got a 4 (New Whey) and a 6 (Profect) out of 100. Not good. If anyone is interested in looking at the study I'd be glad to e-mail it to you. It's 4 pages long and too much to post here! Someone posted on this board not too long ago about her surgeon looking at her post-op lab work and telling her that she needed to switch protein supps. Her labs weren't good and she had been using the New Whey bullets. Kind of disappointing...but useful info I think!  If anyone wants the study---message me with your e-mail address and I'll fwd so you can make your own opinion!

Courtney, can you email me the story ([email protected])  I have been using them, and my nut said they  were ok, I'd like to share the study with her as well.

I think they taste terrible, anyway.. I used Profect for awhile, but used to get chills trying to choke them down.. Yuk!

Courtney- My nutritionist told me that the protein bullets are an inferior form of protein that we shouldn't use. Then, a couple days ago I read the same study and it's exaclty what she told me. Be careful-just do the 100% whey proteins like isopures, unjury, etc. Thanks for bringing up this topic on the main forum. Good luck with your weight loss! Mag

Please send it to me ([email protected]). This is the only protein I use and I just had a checkup last week and all my labs came out great. Thanks.

My nutritionist told me the same things that it is filled with not really good sources  of protein and she only recommends it when  people like me can't tolerate the other more preferred sources.  But in my case couldn't do it either. Too thick and when I water it down to the point that I can drink it is way too much liquid than I can drink in more than a day. I would love to see the study though.  Just cause I am a research nut and collector of information. thanks  Madison
